Today we had a going away party for Dr. Jude because he is going to Gulu in the northern part of Uganda for his residency for one year before returning to Bishop Asili to serve as a doctor for at least three years. Our lovely melting pot of house mates ate a delicious meal followed by a cake. Sister Ernestine brought a potent wine made from the local liquor Waragi and passion fruits. Jude gave a great speech and we all sang "Hey Jude" instead of "He's a Jolly Good Fellow"! It was a wonderful evening that won't soon be forgotten. Jude will be missed.
