Sister Ernestine Akulu studied in Italy many years ago. During that time she became fluent in Italian and made very many good friends. After several years of waiting for them to come and visit her here in Uganda, seven of them have finally come!! Sister Ernestine has not stopped grinning since they stepped off the airplane. I now have very many house mates that guarantee entertainment and company to share meals with. We are quite the melting pot sitting around the dinner table. Seven Italians with various backgrounds, one American development worker, one Malaysian masters student, one Ugandan doctor and one very happy Ugandan nun!!! We are having an absolutely amazing cultural exchange!! I only wish I could speak as much Italian as Luganda.
