Janka and Annika and I went to Katikamu so that we could see the new brick making machines that had been delivered today. The community members that were present for the delivery were so excited. Everyone came help offload the presses from the truck so they would get the opportunity to touch them and get a good look at how they operate. They are in top notch condition as Just Like My Child Foundation bought them brand new from Kenya. The Project Coordinator, Oliang Ben was happier than I think I’ve ever seen him, although he’s always grinning and belting out that jolly laugh of his. Plans must now be established for training both the Katikamu Community as well as Bishop Asili on how to use the brick making presses properly.
